The County of Franklin, Virginia, is seeking Planning, Architectural, Engineering Construction Support and Surveying proposals for varied occasional professional services needs. Services to be provided shall include research, analysis, report preparation and presentation, studies and design, permitting, project implementation, grant writing, and other architectural and engineering services not otherwise contracted by the County. Services shall be provided on an as-needed basis to assist different County departments and the County administration. The services sought include: 1) Water and Sewer Plans review to assist administration of the local Code, Chapter 22. 2) Soil and Erosion, Storm water, Subdivision, Site Plan, and other planning and building reviews of proposed projects for multiple departments including but not limited to General Properties, Development Services, Parks and Recreation and Economic Development. 3) Engineering and Architectural Studies related to economic and community development (such as site development, utility, road, water and sewer, transportation, planning studies and other infrastructure planning) for multiple departments including but not limited to General Properties, Development Services, Parks and Recreation and Economic Development. 4) Facility planning and development (new and renovation/rehab) including space planning for multiple departments including but not limited to General Properties, Development Services, Parks and Recreation and Economic Development. 5) Grants development related to community and economic development. 6) Environmental engineering and development 7) Geotechnical Engineering 8) Project Management and Administration Services 9) Building Plan Review and Third-Party Building Inspections 10) Surveying Services Interested parties may submit proposals for any or all the services listed above. The County reserves the right to select one or more different service providers for occasional services. Offeror is solely responsible for ensuring that such Offeror has the current, complete version of the RFP documents, including any addenda, before submitting a proposal. Service providers who currently hold occasional services agreements with Franklin County may submit a current letter of interest along with any updated information on their qualifications. They may later be requested to submit additional information, asked to be re-interviewed, and/or submit updated agreements for occasional services.
