Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Northridge, California. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and two-story above grade, 105-unit multi-residential development.
This project will construct the second phase (#161) that will provide 105 two-story townhome residences with garages for faculty and staff. Funding will be provided by campus housing reserves and a future bond sale, subsequent to approval by the Housing Proposal Review Committee and the chancellor. Proceeding with this project is dependent upon a viable financial plan and qualification for placement in the Systemwide Revenue Bond Program. This project is in the California State University's FY 2020/2021 - FY 2024/2025 CIP. Per the owner, as of April 10, 2023, this project is not anticipated to be ready until 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
