McCarthy Building Companies is requesting sub-bids from qualified Subcontractors (licensed contractor with A or B Classification or C Specialty Licenses for scope noted within Bid Packages) from all trades for: Central Elementary School on behalf of San Diego Unified School District. Central Elementary School is a comprehensive Elementary School for a capacity of 1,000 students with a Daycare and Community Clinic. The project includes a new Administration Building, Learning Commons / Classroom Building, Kindergarten Classroom Building, Daycare Building, Toddler and Pre-K Classroom Buildings, Food Service / Lunch Shelter, Multi-Purpose Building, Play Structures, Basketball / Volleyball Field and grass areas, and associated on and off-site work. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal, or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. There is a minimum 3% DVBE requirement to participate in this bid.
