The design work will include but is not limited to structural design, roadway design, pavement design, geotechnical work, hydraulic analysis, scour analysis, roadway drainage design, surveys, and traffic engineering This Project will be constructed as a partially controlled access facility on a new alignment from east of the Cheat River Bridge to Mackeyville Road (CR 219/4) in Tucker County. The work shall include the following: Design, grade, drain, pave, signing and pavement markings for US 48 (Corridor H), access roads and connectors tying to US 48 and temporary connectors to existing US 219, CR 219/4 and CR 31 for approximately 3.04 miles of mainline in accordance with the Project Criteria (Exhibit A2). Mainline project limits are from approximately Sta. 729+50 (where the proposed project must tie seamlessly to the existing project) to Sta. 891+00 as shown in Exhibit B.
