Renovation of an educational facility in Boulder, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 95,065-square-foot educational facility.
As of July 16, 2024, construction is underway. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The University of Colorado Boulder is requesting the first of four phases of funding to support the design of a project to provide comprehensive improvements in the 95,065 GSF Hellems Arts & Sciences Building which is now estimated to have a 2019 FCI of 27%. Requests have been submitted for a capital renewal project for the building since FY03-04 without an appropriation. The project anticipates interior and exterior renovations, as well as site improvements, and will be designed to minimum goal of LEED Gold. The total project (soft and hard costs) is budgeted at $90.78M with a construction budget of $64.13M. For additional information please refer to the Project Program Plan, the Project Information Packet, and the Project Preliminary Schedule The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
