Renovation of a fire / police facility in Alexandria, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The solicitation will not be provided in the eVA system, only in the City's Vendor Self Service System. The City has issued the ITB to obtain Bids from qualified Bidders and enter a Contract for the provision of demolition and construction services for the Alexandria Fire Department (AFD) Burn Building Replacement project. The successful Bidder shall demolish the existing training facility and reconstruct a new burn building The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the City a performance bond and a payment bond, properly executed by a surety company acceptable to the City and authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the respective Contract amount Question Deadline 08/27/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Bidders shall submit any questions regarding sites, scope of work, Contract requirements in writing to Peter.Tomaselli@alexandriava.gov.
