The Work of this Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes but is not limited to the following: The construction of a new 15,426 square foot public library facility. The building Use Group is classified as A-3 (Assembly). The Construction Classification Type is IIB. The facility will include concrete foundations with partial basement, partial slab-on-grade and partial depressed slab-on-grade below raised access flooring system. Exterior finishes include manufactured stone veneer, cementitious siding, metal-clad panel system and aluminum curtain wall and storefront glazing systems, as well as standing-seam metal and TPO roofing systems. The facility will include a raised access flooring system and interior partitions will be metal stud with gypsum wall board with selected interior finishes. Ceilings will include painted drywall and lay-in acoustical ceiling systems. Work will also include a complete HVAC system (including partial under-floor system), electrical service, lighting, plumbing and plumbing fixtures. Site work will include grading, utilities (including water, sanitary, storm water, and electrical), parking lot paving and striping, site lighting, landscaping and dumpster enclosure. Site work shall be unclassified and no blasting is to be utilized on site. A fully functioning, temporary construction trailer shall be installed prior to the start of construction.
