The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: demolition, site work and new construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art Co-Located elementary/Middle school, roughly 185,000GSF on the existing Middletown Campus. Classroom/learning spaces, technology/science labs, music, elementary and middle school gymnasiums and cafeterias, collaborative spaces/lounges, separate administrative spaces, etc. new sports fields, playgrounds, hardscapes, parking lots, etc. This new facility will provide programming and support to the existing Middletown Campus and Surrounding community. Demolition of existing Elementary and Middle Schools MBE Goal - 15% Wage Scale Required The bidder or offeror acknowledges the MBE Participation requirements and will submit their completed bid forms and MBE participation forms accordingly. Proposals that do not acknowledge the MBE goals along with the required documentation for the project may not be considered responsive The Apparent Qualified Bidder shall be requested to submit other Minority Business Enterprise materials and supporting data within ten (10) working days after notification that the firm is the apparent Qualified bidder. Scope review meetings will be held immediately following the bid due date. Please plan to be available for a descope at the Whiting-Turner main office. Scope Review Dates are TBD but assume September 2nd through September 11th, 2025. The Owner/Construction Manager reserves the right to accept any of the bids for Alternate work submitted, and may accept Alternates in any order or combination, unless specifically provided in the Contract Documents.
