Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Springbrook, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The Red Deer Regional Airport is looking to construct a new low-cost passenger terminal to support low-cost passenger service opportunities in 2023. The new low-cost passenger terminal will be located immediately south of the existing terminal and must be capable of supporting a maximum of 189 passengers at any time. Customs and security will also be provided for those traveling domestically and internationally. Detailed design drawings of the new low-cost terminal have been completed (refer to drop box link) and must be used to provide your cost estimate. While the existing design depicts the use of precast concrete for exterior walls, interested parties are strongly recommended to offer alternative cost-saving solutions so long as it does not change the layout of the terminal. Please note that this is a fixed-price project. Those interested in submitting a proposal must provide a cost estimate that includes a detailed breakdown of all unit quantities/prices, construction contingency, and construction management fees. While final funding support has yet to be obtained, it is expected that this project will need to begin sometime in August to support an April 1st, 2023 in-service deadline.
