Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gresham, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project adds capacity to this existing signalized intersection. Improvements considered include: dual left turn lanes on all approaches and right turn pockets as needed. The signal would be replaced. SDC projects #23 and Signal Ops. This project will help decrease traffic congestion, improve motorist and non- motorist safety, and minimize delays to area transportation system users on arterials. As Gresham continues to grow, it is necessary to increase the capacity at selected intersection locations to alleviate excessive vehicle delay and fuel waste. As of September 5, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2025-26. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025-26. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
