As of December 20, 2019, this project is underway. This bid consists of the following projects: CCEC - Columbia County Education Campus - Construction of a new 11,500 sf wood framed building. - Water, sewer, and electrical utilities - Demounting and removal of the existing five portable classroom buildings (approximately 10,000 sf of space) and ancillary structures - Reconfiguring existing parking Lots, installing a new covered play area, and installing right of way improvements - Other components described in the contract documents. This project has a substantial completion date of 12/31/18. The existing CCEC School is located on the same site and will remain in operation throughout the construction process, the site is constrained and construction activities will need to be performed to minimize disturbance to the adjacent facility. St. Helens Middle School - Construction of a new 103,980 sf steel framed two story school building - Parking Lots, athletic fields and playgrounds - Water, sewer, and electrical utilities - Landscaping and curb and sidewalk improvements along two sides of the school site - Demolition of the existing 75,000 sf school and debris removal, including HAZMAT mitigation - Other components described in the contract documents. This project has a substantial completion date of 8/18/19.
