The pavement rehabilitation project of State Route 0222, Section Slb Including Slab Stabilization, Full-depth Patching, Bridge Preventative Maintenance Repairs, Drainage Pipe Lining and Other Miscellaneous Construction, as Indicated in the Bid Package for State Route 0222, Section Slb, in Berks County, Wyomissing Borough, Muhlenberg, Bern, and Spring Townships from approximately 300 feet north of the SR 8042 Berkshire Boulevard overpass at segment 0203 offset 2500 to approximately 1400 feet south of the SR 3067 Bridge at segment 0293 offset 1000 (Southbound) and approximately 900 feet north of the SR 8042 Berkshire Boulevard overpass at segment 0212 offset 0000 to approximately 1400 feet south of the SR 3067 Bridge at segment 0292 offset 1000 (Northbound). Also included is the SR 0222, Section 30M Pavement Widening project located in Spring Township and Wyomissing Borough, Berks County from approximately the on-ramp of Broadcasting Road at segment 0213 offset 2628 to approximately the split to US 422 West at segment 0203 offset 2775. The proposed roadway improvements for this project include eliminating the tapers and widening approximately 1,400 feet of SR 0222 to connect the Southbound on-ramp to SR 0222 from Broadcasting Road to the Southbound off-ramp from SR 0222 onto Westbound SR 0422 at Berkshire Boulevard. Additional work includes the replacement of overhead signs, rehab of existing sign structures, guide rail replacement and other miscellaneous construction.
