Site work for a municipal facility in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. Funding for this project is from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant. Attention is called to the fact that Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex or national origin. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest. Project Description Upgrading the perimeter fencing around 11 th & Pike Playground. The fencing was recently completed around the Eastern perimeter of the playground. The fencing around the Western perimeter is to be addressed. This will include approximately 246 ft on the Pike St. side, approximately 246 ft on the Amity St. side, and approximately 515 ft. along the 11 th St. side. Work to be Performed Remove and dispose of existing posts and chain link mesh along with all related hardware at the above mentioned areas. Prepare area for new industrial grade aluminum fence at the above mentioned area. Install 8ft. wide by 6ft. high aluminum fence panels, posts, and related hardware per manufacturer's specifications.
