Project Description: The S470 Pump Station, is a 1,500 CFS pump station powered by four 375 CFS electric powered pumps. The facility will include an intake structure, intake pipes, pipe cans, vertical mixed axial flow pumps and electric motors, piping and valves, pump building, all electrical panels and switchgear, infrastructure for SCADA instrumentation and controls, microwave tower and enclosure with communication systems, LP gas generator, and sitework. The work also includes improvements to the Townsend Canal at the SR 80 highway bridge along with widening of the canal from SR80 to the Caloosahatchee River.
