Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Jasper, Alberta. Working plans call for the construction of a 8,363-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Construction of a new detachment on a site owned by Parks Canada, 365 Kilometers west of Edmonton, in Jasper, Alberta. The total size of the facility will be 8,363 sq ft which will include a 391 sq ft out-building for cold storage. A fenced dog run (with a wood dog house) will also be located on the site. Additional constraints have been imposed by Parks Canada and the Town of Jasper, that must also be met. There will be (2) duplexes also constructed (by others) on site that will require site location and utilities coordination with the site. TIMELINE: This project has been delayed due to the 2024 wildfire. The project site is currently being used to interim housing. Timelines for tender and construction are undetermined. Further update may be available mid-/fall 2026. Value listed reflects the estimated cost for construction.
