Renovation and addition to a fitness / recreation center in Jasper, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for the addition of a fitness / recreation center.
The Municipality of Jasper (MoJ), the Owner, is interested in renovating and expanding to the Activity Centre (JAC) to improve functions, upgrade end of life building systems, resolve code compliance deficiencies and improve the overall user experience of the facility. The JAC Project is a renovation and expansion to the existing facility which includes improvements to the Activity Centre, Curling Rink, Gymnastics area and the Arena. The project provides an expansion to the existing arena to the North-West and South-West. In conjunction with this project work, MoJ is also installing a new Ice Plant to the NW corner of the site. The design and construction of the Ice Plant project is outside the scope of this RFP, however, the expectation is the successful proponent of the RFP will work in conjunction to coordinate work between the two projects where activities may overlap.
