Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Roaring Bk Tp, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project Consists of Replacement of the Existing Stone Masonry Arch Culvert Carrying Sr 307 Over Stafford Meadow Brook With Approach Roadway Improvements. The Proposed Structure Will Be Single Span Prestressed Concrete Spread Box Beam Bridge With Four 11 Foot Lanes and 8 Foot Shoulders. Other Work Includes Roadway Approach Pavement Reconstruction and Shoulder Widening, Guide Rail Replacement, E&s Control Measures, Signing and Pavement Marking, Existing Structure Removal, and Other Miscellaneous Construction Work. Construction of the Sr 307 Bridge Will Be Completed Using Staged Construction While Maintaining One Lane of Traffic in Each Direction. Additional Work Includes Two Driveway Relocations and Mill and Overlay of Sr 307 at the Project Extents, as Indicated on the Approved Drawings Included in the Bid Package for State Route 307, Section D53, in Lackawanna County, Roaring Brook Township From Approximately 4.4 Miles North of Sr 690 at Nb Segment 0150 Offset 1147 to Approximately 2.4 Miles South of Interstate I-81 at Segment 0180 Offset 1340.
