SR/SEC/Group ID: 3013/203/--- For the improvement of certain section of highway in LACKAWANNA COUNTY, CITY OF SCRANTON, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, STATE ROUTE 3013, SECTION 0203. The project involves traffic Signal equipment upgrades to three (3) intersections out of the 11 intersections originally scoped. The purpose of the project is to improve safety on SR 3013 at various intersections and the on/off ramps to the Scranton Expressway in the City of Scranton, Lackawanna County. The remaining eight (8) intersections will be bid on a later date under a different project. The improvements will involve mast arm installations, led traffic signals and back plates and new controllers. Also signs and pavement marking upgrades. A few ADA ramps may need upgrading and a slight radius improvement for vehicles turning. The intersections involved are: 1.) Main Avenue and Oram Street, 2.) Main Avenue and Ramp A-B, 3.) Main Avenue and Ramp C-D. All work contained within an overall length of 1399 linear feet (0.26 miles) as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package.
