Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Washington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project includes the replacement of the open-grid steel deck bridge carrying Valley Road (T-672) over Brush Run. Work will include demolishing the existing structure and replacing with a pre-stressed concrete box culvert. Minimal approach work will be done to tie into the existing pavement and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for Township Road T-672, Section C30, in Washington County, Cecil and Chartiers Townships from approximately the intersection of 1st Street (SR 0980) and Valley Road to approximately the intersection of Veronica Drive and Valley Road.
