Site work for a mixed-use development in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This Project consists of Drawing File No., 4-138-27, three (3) sheets. This Project is located at 433 NW 23rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33311. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the construction of one dock with concrete filled pearson piles with an alternate of 8x8 plastic lumber posts, pressure treated pine lumber decking with an alternate of plastic lumber decking and stainless steel rails per plans and specifications. NOTE: Payment on this contract will be made by check. Licensing Requirements: Possession of a State of Florida General Contractors License is required for this Project. It will be the sole responsibility of the bidder to inspect the Citys location/facilities and become familiar with the scope of the Citys requirements and systems prior to submitting a proposal. No variation in price or conditions shall be permitted based upon a claim of ignorance. Submission of a proposal will be considered evidence that the proposer has familiarized himself with the nature and extent of the work, equipment, materials, and labor required. A certified check, cashiers check, bank officers check or bid bond for FIVE percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, shall accompany each proposal. Bidders can hand deliver their bid bond in a sealed envelope to the Finance Department, Procurement Services Division, 100 North Andrews Avenue, Room 619, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301-1016, before time of bid opening, with the company name, bid number and title clearly indicated on the envelope. 5) Bidders can mail their bid bond to the Finance Department, Procurement Services Division, 100 North Andrews Avenue, Room 619, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301-1016, before time of bid opening, with the company name, bid number and title clearly indicated on the envelope. It will be the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that his bid is submitted prior to the bid opening date and time listed. The forms of securities, as well as hard copy bid bonds, must be received on or before the Invitation to Bid (ITB) opening date and time, at the Finance Department, Procurement Services Division, 100 North Andrews Avenue, Room 619, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301-1016, with the bid number and title clearly indicated on the envelope. It is the bidders sole responsibility to ensure that his bid bond or other bid security is received by the Procurement Services Division before time of bid opening. Failure to adhere to this requirement may be grounds to consider the bid as non-responsive. The City of Fort Lauderdale reserves the right to waive any informality in any or all bids and to reject any or all bids. Questions of a material nature must be received prior to the cut-off date specified in the solicitation. Material changes, if any, to the scope of services or bidding procedures, will only be transmitted by written addendum. Contractors please note: No part of your bid can be submitted via FAX.
