Site work and paving for a civil project in Denver, Colorado. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Washington Street serves as a transportation spine and main north-south connection within the Globeville neighborhood. The project will build areas on both sides of Washington Street for walking and biking, improve access to transit, add streetscaping, energy-efficient lighting and new curb and gutters to improve drainage. An engineer has been selected. As of May 11, 2022 this project is in design. General contractor bidding is not expected to commence before first quarter 2023. Construction is not expected to begin before early second quarter 2023. Completion is not anticipated until 2024 or 2025.
