The improvement consists of: Rehabilitation of the Whatcom Creek sewer trunk main between manhole 03507 (in the vicinity of Nevada Street at Whatcom Creek) to the intersection of State Street and York Street within the City of Bellingham, WA. Improvements include cured-in-place pipe and manhole rehabilitation, construction of new manholes at existing sewer connections; and supporting activities such as a temporary sewer bypass system, traffic control, temporary bridge, excavation, shoring, concrete and asphalt paving, sensitive area mitigation, site restoration and other work. Price Range: $7,100,000 - $7,800,000 All proposals must be upon the Bid Proposal form provided by the City of Bellingham and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, cash, money order or bid bond payable to the Finance Director in an amount equal to or exceeding five percent (5%) of the total bid. No other form of bid security is acceptable. The right is reserved to postpone making the award for a reasonable length of time, to reject any and all bids, or to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights. A.
