Renovation of a water / sewer project in Scarborough, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Updates to the FJ Horgan Water Treatment Plant. The objective is upgrades for parallel operation of Standby Natural Gas Generators with Toronto Hydro Incoming Feeder. The Horgan Plant is supplied with electrical power from Toronto Hydro Electric System Ltd (THESL) through two 27.6 feeders with an existing standby power station consisting of five NG generators of 2 MW each. These NG generators will be operated in parallel to one of the THESL incoming feeds to have an uninterrupted plan operation, participate in Toronto Hydro's incentive program, peak saving program and more efficient utilization of gas generators. TIMELINE: This scope of work was cancelled due to lack of funds. The project should be restarted in the future with a revised scope, timing is undetermined. Tender and construction will be followed separately at such a time that they proceed with a new scope of work. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
