Site work for a water / sewer project in Palm Shores, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project consists of implementing eleven distinct water quality improvement installations within Brevard County. Major items of work (outlined in Section IX) include the installation of an up-flow filter with associated piping and Biosorption Activated Media (BAM) material and backfill, BAM ditch bottom replacement and pond bank soil replacement. Contractors shall promptly notify Purchasing Services, prior to submission of their bid, of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error, which they may discover upon examination of the bid documents. No interpretation of the meaning of specifications or other documents will be made to any Contractor orally, nor may Contractor rely on any such pre-bid statements in completing the bid. Every request for such interpretation must be in writing addressed to Purchasing Services at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Bldg. C, Suite 303, Viera, FL 32940, or emailed to the attention of Stephanie Reynolds at stephanie.reynolds@brevardfl.gov. To be given consideration, such requests must be received in writing no later than five (5) business days prior to the date for opening of the bids. For information concerning procedures for responding to this bid, contact Stephanie Reynolds, Purchasing Services at 321-617-7390 or by email at stephanie.reynolds@brevardfl.gov. Such contact shall be for clarification purposes only. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the Contract and having the Bidders accept the Contract and execute all necessary documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. The Owner reserves the right to rebid the Contract or contract modifications in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents, or where the work has not been previously initiated, where the change increases the original Scope of Work and where the rebid process will not impact existing work by the awarded Contractor.
