Site work for a water / sewer project in Jupiter, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Existing drainage swales on Commerce Way W. and Commerce Lane are inadequate to meet established levels of service resulting in flooding during average and heavy rainfall events. Installation of drainage structures, reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), and exfiltration trench to alleviate flooding and enhance water quality treatment of stormwater runoff will be provided by this project. In addition, (+/-)200' of failing existing 60" diameter high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) exfiltration trench will be replaced with RCP exfiltration trench and (+/-)235' of existing RCP will be slip lined. Four new isolation valves will be installed on existing watermains and six hydrants will be replaced. As of October 27, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
