Site work, paving and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Cherokee, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,785-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
As of March 5, 2019, a general contractor has been awarded. *Per Addendum 5, the bid date was extended from December 11 to December 18 at 2 pm.* Questions must be received by Designer by 2:00 pm, Wednesday December 5, 2018. The project consists of a new 3,785 square foot, community facility that includes a large, open multi-purpose room, kitchen, storage, restrooms and multi-functional classroom. There is a 20’ x 32’ detached Porte Cochere. The project is located at the existing Big Cove Community Center site and includes demolition of existing parking lot and construction of new. Future site work and new Gymnasium are in a future phase, reference the “Boundary of Construction” per Civil and Architectural Site drawings. The successful bidder will be obligated to comply with Tribal Employment Rights guidelines as published in the Project Manual.
