Site work for a water / sewer project in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Redesign of the existing facility that will increase moorage space by 50% and improve access at the downtown Nanaimo boat basin marina. The redesigned marina will have the same overall footprint, but will use slip moorage instead of alongside moorage allowing for the 50-plus per cent increase in moorage space. Plans also call for the fuel dock to be repositioned out to the marina entrance to improve access for larger vessels. The phased construction will be done while managing existing tenants and users. TIMELINE: Project is cancelled by the owner dye to lack of funding. Coverage is discontinued.
