Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sunrise, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The purpose of this project is renovate the 3,400 square foot former HBO facility located on the Sawgrass WTP property so that it can be utilized for Facilities Maintenance and Utilities storage space. In its prior use, the building had depressed floor slab areas for equipment and cabling. In order for the building to be used as warehouse space, the floor will need to be leveled. Additionally, the building will require the installation of rollup garage doors for loading and unloading of equipment, as well as office and work areas for City maintenance crews that will be operating out of this site. Beyond the existing shell, we propose to add up to 2,000 square feet of additional storage bays for supplies and equipment. Project is included in the City of Sunrise FY 2023-2027 CIP. As of June 23, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. A timeline for construction has not been determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
