Completed plans call for the addition of a 4,000-square-foot fitness / recreation center; for the renovation of a 51,700-square-foot, two-story above grade fitness / recreation center; 13,200-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; fitness / recreation center; and fitness / recreation center.

The Contra Costa College PE Complex project consists of the renovation of four buildings plus an addition to the existing gym and related site work. Gymnasium: Existing 18,400 SF concrete building. Seismic upgrade, new wood floors, new bleachers, added HVAC system, modernize/replace existing building systems. New addition of 4,000SF structural steel lobby, classroom, and restrooms. Gym Annex: Existing 33,300SF, 2-story concrete building. Modernize/replace existing building systems and finishes including HVAC, electrical, building envelope, and ADA upgrades. Womens Locker: Existing 4,500SF, 1-story, wood framed building. Structural upgrades, modernize/replace existing building systems and finishes including HVAC, electrical, building envelope, and ADA upgrades. Mens Locker: Existing 8,700SF, 1-story, wood framed building. Contractor is not to disturb occupants or enter locker rooms except at designated dates and times.
