The City of San Pablo EV City Fleet Transition and Public Charging Hub Analysis Project will assist the City with complying with the 2020 California Air Resources Board (CARB) Advanced Clean Fleet Regulations. The City plans to transition all City-owned internal combustion engine and hybrid vehicles to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) (excluding emergency and Police Department vehicles). Additionally, the City intends to conduct an analysis to identify potential locations for public charging hubs for public or City fleet use. In order to attain these goals, the City seeks professional services to interpret state and federal EV regulations, identify transition vehicle types & transition timelines, perform EV & grid infrastructure analysis, and create budget outlays and expenditure forecasts. By developing a comprehensive transition plan and establishing public charging hubs, the City aims to achieve 100% ZEV operation by 2042.
