Site work, paving and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in New Paltz, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for asbestos abatement for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work of this single-bid project includes installation of approximately 800 lf of direct buried, triple-wall insulated HTHW piping system in the same location/route as the existing pipe. Work also includes trenching/excavation, partial demolition/removal of existing piping, temporary fencing, asbestos abatement, landscape, asphalt and sidewalk restoration, testing of welds, flushing and cleaning, along with associated valves, fittings, bedding, supports and tie-ins at building. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In the event the bidder fails to complete such work by said date, or within the time to which such completion may have been extended in accordance with the Contract Documents, the bidder agrees to pay the Fund liquidated damages in the sum of $200 for each calendar day of delay in completing the work. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, both of which Bonds shall be on the form prescribed by the Fund and in an amount not less than 100 percent of the total amount of the Contract awarded to the Contractor by the Fund.
