Electrical Modifications for Dishwasher Installations at Student Union Building, Terrace Restaurant & Element 93 All work on this Contract is to be completed within Sixty-One days. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. MBE (0%), WBE (0%), DVBE (0%) The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number #25:01E, titled Electrical Modifications for Dishwasher Installations at Student Union Building, Terrace Restaurant, and Element 93 and carry out all duties and obligations imposed upon the contractor by the Contract Documents to support the new kitchen renovations which involves some Hazmat, Architectural, Plumbing and Electrical systems modifications and see below for details. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Electrical Scope: Student Union Removals: Disconnect existing dishwasher and make safe for relocation. Remove associated disconnect. Remove associated circuit, conductors, wiring, conduit, etc. back to source. New Work: Provide new 125A, 480V sub-panel in kitchen. Sub-panel to be fed from basement switchboard. Provide (5) new 480V, 3ph circuits from sub- panel for new dishwasher. Terrace: Removals: Disconnect existing dishwasher and make safe for removal. Remove associated disconnects. Remove dishwasher and booster heater circuits (conduit, conductors, wiring, etc.) back to source. New Work: Provide new circuits for dishwasher and booster heater. Utilize space made available in existing panel from previous removals. Provide new circuit breakers for feed. Wooster Café: Removals: Disconnect existing dishwasher and make safe for removals. Remove associated disconnect and circuit back to source. New Work: Provide new circuit for dishwasher from existing distribution panel DP-K. Provide 208V:480V step up transformer with secondary fused disconnect for dishwasher feed. Utilize space in existing distribution panel, provide new circuit breaker for relocated dishwasher feed. General Note: Coordinate all removals of existing dishwasher and other equipment noted on the drawings work with the college and campus auxiliary services before any work begins.
