Site work for a water / sewer project in Leesport, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed for the SR 61 Water Main Crossing Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances for the construction of approximately 190 LF of 12" DIP water main, 100 LF of 24-inch cased highway boring, tie to existing main and associated trench restoration located in PennDOT right-of-way and private easements.Proposals shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening, unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, or the award of a grant or grants in which event the bids shall remain effective for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening. The successful bidder shall complete the project within ninety (90) calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the PA Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. The Borough of Leesport, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
