As of March 31 2022 this has an awarded bidder. City of Cedar Park is seeking Statements of Qualification (SOQs) from qualified architectural firms to design and prepare construction drawings for a remodel of Building 1 on the City Hall campus. As part of the proposal, firms are asked to submit a statement of qualifications, which includes their experience in public facility planning and design of similar size projects. Considerations should be made for all phases of architectural services, construction cost estimations, and any other items necessary to successfully complete the project. The remodel of City Hall Building 1 includes repurposing approximately 2,000 square feet of existing office space on the 2nd floor and 3,000 square feet on the 3rd floor to accommodate growing City departments. The selected design team shall be responsible for schematic space planning to meet departmental work space needs, preparing detailed construction plans and specifications, identifying a phasing plan to ensure all departments can continue normal business operations during construction, and ultimately guide the City through the design and construction process. The project is located at the City of Cedar Park City Hall Complex at 450 Cypress Creek Road, Cedar Park, Texas 78613. Professional services will be project specific and may include, but are not limited to the following: Attend preliminary design meeting(s) with City staff to discuss project timeline and schedule for project deliverables Prepare schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimates and meet with City staff to review at each milestone. Prepare and submit all permit applications and supporting documents. Prepare competitive sealed proposal contract documents (front end and technical specifications) for use during proposal phase Provide construction phase services (bidding, contract admin, monthly meetings, requests for information, and change orders as needed) All responses to this Request for Qualifications as well as any questions, clarifications, or requests for general information are to be directed to: Randall J.
