The scope of work will consist of the construction of a 11,328 square foot building addition, 400,000-gallon ground fire tank, associated utilities and utility relocations, modifications to existing buildings, and various site improvements to include but not limited to the construction of roadways, driveways, sidewalks, ramps, striping, and the grading and stabilization of unimproved areas to prevent erosion around equipment pads and provide improved maintenance access. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. No bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: The Contractor's name, address, and license number; the date of the license expiration; and a quotation of that part of the license classification applicable to the bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond, in the amount of at least five (5) percent of the bid amount, drawn payable to The Industrial Development Board of the County of Montgomery as security for the proper execution of the Agreement. A Contract Performance/Payment Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price will also be required.
