The work includes Installation of Residential Wells (17 Sites).The Well Installer will provide a complete and operating residential well system including, but not limited to, drilling and installation of a well, pump system, piping, electrical hook-up, and connection to house plumbing. Any interpretation, correction or change of the IFB documents will be made by addendum.No substitutions will be considered after the Contract award except by amendment or change order. The successful Bidder will be notified of acceptance of bid by a written Notice of Award of contract. The successful Bidder shall not undertake any Work, and the County will not be responsible for payment for any Work whatsoever undertaken by successful Bidder prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Every bid must be accompanied by a notarized affidavit of non-collusion, executed by the Bidder or in the case of a corporation, by a duly authorized representative of said corporation. Time of completion for each well shall be twenty (20) calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed for each project. All Work, to include documentation for final close out of the entire Contract, shall be completed within 180 days of Contract execution date. To meet this time frame, it will be necessary to install wells concurrently based on the Notice to Proceed dates.
