The Scope of Work for this project includes the installation of light standards, landscape and Irrigation in existing Adrian Garcia Park for the City of El Paso. Contractor should anticipate existing underground utilities, conduits, and irrigation lines. Care shall be taken to avoid damages to any existing underground lines. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond as required by law, and the terms of this contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond naming the City of El Paso as obligee and duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price (including base bid(s), option(s) and alternate(s). All Bid Bond Forms Must Contain Original Signatures (S). The estimated project budget is in the range of $65,000.00 - $85,000.00. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity in stating the price in the bid, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof or to reject any bids. Also, the City reserves the right to accept the low bid based on the tabulation of any one, combination or all of the base bid(s), alternate bid(s) and/or, optional bid(s) based on the most advantageous project bid that is desired by the City Department involved and that the City Council in their sole judgment determines is the City's best interest and benefit.
