· As of March 22,2019, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established New construction of security vestibules at 18 elementary schools and as set forth in the Bidding Documents. The Project will be awarded by Base Bid. All interested parties are invited to attend. Project description: New Construction of security vestibules at 18 existing elementary schools and as more particularly set forth in the Bidding Documents. Only a bid submitted by a Bidder on record with the Architect as having received plans and specifications from the Architect will be opened. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by Base Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner will provide the forms of all bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive technicalities and informalities. Bidding Documents may be examined at Manley Spangler Smith Architects 770-227-5473.
