This project includes: New exterior loading dock and associated site work and interior renovations. Start submittal process immediately upon contract award by the Board of Education. Actual work on site shall not commence until June 12, 2019. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before August 9, 2019. A. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Sitework a. Selective site demolition, erosion and sediment control. b. Rough and finish grading, soils corrections, earthwork. c. Paving, curb and gutter, maintenance strips, concrete sidewalks, ground cover. 2. Building Structure a. Concrete footings, concrete foundation walls, concrete slabs on grade, concrete dock leveler, and miscellaneous metal items including embeds and angles for stairs, corner edges, and metal railings. b. Existing masonry wall retrofit for new and enlarged existing openings. 3. Building Enclosure a. Exterior wall systems of face brick, cavity wall insulation, and metal panels. b. Galvanized hollow metal doors and frames. Sectional metal overhead door. c. Roof patching for new and existing openings. 4. Interior Finishes a. Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions. b. Wall finishes of paint, brick, porcelain tile. c. Ceiling finishes of plaster. d. HM doors and frames, hardware, loading dock equipment, miscellaneous specialties. 5. Mechanical Systems a. Plumbing including, supply and waste piping systems, piping insulation, plumbing fixtures. b. Hydronic piping and insulation. c. Ductwork modifications and relocation of existing fan and relief hood. d. Temperature control system. 6. Electrical Systems a. Electrical conduit and wiring. b. Interior and exterior lighting. Parking lot lighting. c. Low voltage work to include: Fire alarm system and access control. d. Fire alarm. 7. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems.
