Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Marys, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of this project is to provide construction services to complete various campus renovation projects for the St. Mary's City School District. Civil upgrades include grading and drainage modifications and new guard railing. Miscellaneous upgrades across several buildings include ceiling repairs in the elementary school, flooring repairs and replacement in multiple buildings, casework replacement in the high school, exterior lighting replacement, new exterior led display sign, new insulated soffit at the elementary and high school buildings, modifications to heating and ventilation systems, and other various upgrades. Renovation and upgrade to Elicarvicuar elementary school gymnasium includes new flooring, basketball hoops, and cafeteria tables. Custom modification of existing bleachers per plans. Electrical upgrades include new sound system and controls. Quonset storage renovation will include stripping structure down and salvaging metal ribs. The existing foundation, concrete floor and interior framing will be demolished, and entirely new structure built around re-use of the existing structural metal ribs.
