The Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Central Procurement Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, Level 3, 1305 East Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319 will be receiving bids for furnishing and installing dietary condensing units, furnishing and installing evaporators, furnishing and installing louvers, furnishing and installing an exhaust fan, wood framing improvements, electrical improvements, and associated demolition at the State Training School for Boys, 3211 Edgington Avenue, Eldora, Iowa 50627. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on March 29, 2019 and end on June 22, 2019. Bids under $135,000.00 may also be delivered via e-mail to Steve Oberbroeckling at steve.oberbroecklinq@iowa.gov. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Scanned and emailed bids must be legible. For emailed bids, the bidder must include a scanned image of a bid bond prepared by a bonding company licensed to transact business in the State of Iowa. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. If providing bid security in forms other than a bid bond, then the bid must be hand delivered and not emailed. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa.
