Awarded bidder Northwoods Excavating - $122,509.19 The Town of Thetford is requesting sealed bid proposals from pre-qualified contractors for the above referenced project. Bid opening will occur immediately after the bid submittal deadline. Construction includes, but is not limited to, the following: construction of a new aggregate surface pedestrian path, construction of curbing, crosswalks, detectable warning surfaces, landscaping and a pedestrian bridge. The project limits are: beginning at a point on VT Route 113 in Thetford approximately 925 ft west of Houghton Hill Road and continuing east, cross country through the Thetford Elementary School and Thetford Hill Village Library properties, then along VT Route 113 from Library Road, east to the intersection of VT Route 113 and Academy Road. This project is funded by the Vermont Agency of Transportation through the Municipal Assistance Bureau. Qualified disadvantaged (DBE) and women (WBE) owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The Town of Thetford is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
