Site work for a water / sewer project in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Contract 01-2019 involves repair and replacement of approximately 400 linear feet of existing 8-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) sanitary sewer with 8-inch polyvinylchloride (PVC) pipe, including lateral reconnections and manhole rehabilitation, at various locations throughout the Borough. This project is being funded in part by a Commonwealth Financing Authority PA Small Water and Sewer Program Grant and is subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within Sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Swarthmore Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of the Borough of Swarthmore.
