The project involves all work necessary for the installation of ADA compliant curb ramps at various locations throughout Swarthmore Borough, including curbing, grading, detectable warning surface, concrete sidewalk, and all required roadway restoration. Questions Due Date: Mar 20th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT This project is being funded in part by a DCED Local Share Account grant and is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of Swarthmore Borough. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. All bids rejected
