Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Townsend, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.
North Middlesex Regional School District 19 Main Street, Townsend, Massachusetts, in accordance with the Bid documents prepared by LaBombard Engineering and the District. The scope of the Base Bid work, without limiting the generality thereof, shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, plants, and supervision to provide: selective demolition (including but not limited to custom cutting of existing concrete walls, beams and suspended slab); site layout in accordance with plans; excavation, including cutting, filling, trenching, backfilling, rough and finish grading and compaction; provide fill materials, including gravel, crushed stone, and screened loam for lawn repair areas; provide new concrete building foundation tied into existing, with kneewalls and footing drain, SOG with trench drain, conc. apron and walk; provide a concrete tight tank including drain & vent piping and alarm conduit run to the building; extension of water lines; site/lawn restoration and any other work as described in the Drawings and Specifications There are no Alternates or Unit Pricing. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30 39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. District reserves the right to waive any informalities or to accept or reject any and all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. Bidder must include the completed Bidder Information and Reference Form (found in Appendix A) with his bid. No late, faxed, emailed, or conditional Bids shall be accepted. If the Office of the Superintendent of Schools are closed due to weather or other emergency, the deadline for receipt of Bids shall be extended until the same time on the next business day that the Office of the Superintendent is open. Bids submitted shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $ 40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), non-refundable, payable to North Middlesex Regional School District, to cover mai
