As of September 4, 2019, a general contractor has been award. This project involves construction of a Pump Station on Municipal Drive and 9,532 feet of low-pressure force main to an existing force main connection at Sta. 95+32 and other related work for a complete operating sewer system. The following professional consultant is responsible to the Authority for the project: Gilmore & Associates, Inc., 65 East Butler Avenue, Suite 100, New Britain, PA 18901. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are open. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the Contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien. The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.
