Discussion and possible award will be on Thursday, April 18 at 8 a.m. at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building, 271 PA-715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322. The Project consists of removal of an existing bridge and abutments over McMichaels Creek on Evergreen Hollow Road, construction of a new prefabricated concrete bridge, including footings, scour protection, roadway approaches, and guiderail. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
