Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Weeki Wachee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Underwater construction service Base Bid: Signed and sealed plans must be provided by the contractor from a licensed engineer prior to any work commencing, subject to FDEP approval. Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, permitting, and supervision to provide a stage and support structure anchored to the existing foundation slabs and or rock After work is complete the engineer will have to sign off that the project was completed as designed. The scope of work includes construction of approximately 20' x 40' oval underwater stage and support legs anchored to the existing foundation slabs and or rock. The stage will be constructed from tube aluminium (or approved equal) in (4) removable sections with a marine grade solid deck (HDPE or approved equal). The detachable support legs and frame will be constructed from tube aluminium (or approved equal). Base plates will be anchored permanently to the existing foundation slabs and or rock. The new stage support will need to provide a 1' clearance outside of the existing base plate footprint. Documents for this bid will be available for download on Tuesday, The Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the State of Florida. Certified Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate in the solicitation process.
