Prequalification Required: Y Section 1: Utilities 1,550 LF - 8 C900 PVC Watermain 470 LF - 30 RCP Class III 600 LF - 24 RCP Class III 310 LF - 18 Class IV 300 LF - 12 RCP Class V 900 LF - Abandon Existing 12 Storm Sewer 400 LF - Abandon Existing 15 Storm 150 LF - Abandon Existing 24 Storm 6 EA - 48 Storm Sewer Manhole 5 EA - 60 Storm Sewer Manhole 1 EA - 72 Storm Sewer Manhole Section 2: Roadway 1 LS - Remove Roadway 3,200 LF - Remove Curb and Gutter 1 LS - Common Excavation 4,950 SY - Crushed Limestone Base Course 4,950 SY - 2 Bituminous Pavement Surface Course 4,950 SY - 3 Bituminous Pavement Binder Course 3,250 LF - 30 Reinforced Concrete Curb and Gutter 9,200 SF - 4 Sidewalk 4,200 SF - 6 Driveway Approach 1 LS - Epoxy Pavement Markings Additional Description: Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check or bid bond made payable to the Village of Menomonee Falls, or cash, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid price as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract within five (5) days after the award of the contract. In case the successful bidder fails to execute such contract and provide the required bonds and insurance certificate within the time specified the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of bid closing. The letting of the contract shall be subject to the provisions of Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. All in accordance with the Contract Documents, including location map, plans and specifications, on file in the office of Engineering Services, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Bidders Proof of Responsibility for 2019 is required on all bids in excess of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.00). Proof of Responsibility forms are available from the ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT located on the Village of Menomonee Falls Electronically at and must be filed with the Director of Engineering Services by the 11th day of December, 2019.
