The work consists of furnishing all material, labor, and equipment necessary for constructing Riverside drive water main replacement. All work is to be done in accordance to the plans and specifications of Project No. 30018. The Contractor shall not subcontract more than 49% of the work based on the total contract price. The Contractor will be required to provide a list of Subcontractors and the value of each Subcontractor's portion of the work. The successful bidder must be able to show a past history of successfully completed underground utility/waterline construction projects that are compliant with the applicable permits and standards. Contractor must submit a list and description of at least 5 similar projects in the last 3 years showing successful installation of 12" watermain or larger. If a subcontractor completes the directional drill portion, they must provide a list of at least 5 similar projects completed in the last 3 years for 12" or larger watermain. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Invitation to Bid shall be submitted in writing and directed to the City of Melbourne, 900 E. Bid bonds shall be countersigned by an agent having an established place of business in the State of Florida.
